Your Photos Framed On Canvas
Ready to get creative? Photos from many compact digital cameras enlarge extremely well as canvas prints. For example, a well captured photo from a five megapixel camera, can produce a fantastic canvas print of 122 x 81 cm (48 x 32 inches).
What If My Photos Are Prints?
1. DO YOU HAVE PRINTS?
If you have prints (A4 or smaller in size) such as the usual 6x4 inch prints we can scan and prepare these for printing onto canvas.
2. DO YOU HAVE NEGATIVE FILM, SLIDES, TRANSPARENCIES?
These need to be scanned or processed by a photo lab. Simply ask them to put your photos onto CD or DVD. For transparencies (e.g. medium or large format film) request a scan to the size of the canvas print required.
Custom Sizes ?
Yes custom sizes available! We can produce a range of sizes in squares, rectangles and panoramas. Sizes range from as small as 15 x 22 cm to as large as 100 x 500 cm. There will never be a need to crop your photography because we are able to cut custom frame sizes.
Base or Premium Canvas?
Our premium canvas is from Canson's archival Infinity range which has been developed to last in excess of 75 years when displayed indoors. This canvas is acid free with a pure white tone that has been specially developed for professionals who demand the best inkjet canvas available. The canvas will not yellow and is an ideal choice for portraiture and fine art photography. Our base canvas is a bright white, unbranded canvas. The base canvas is not archivally rated and has more irregularities in the canvas surface. However, the prints are vibrant and it's a cost effective alternative to our premium canvas. Furthermore, we coat the base canvas in the same way as the premium canvas so that there is no cracking in the corners of the finished canvas artwork. The coating also protects the canvas from UV, water and scuffing damage.
