Port Macquarie is surrounded by the Hastings River and beautiful ocean beaches. A coastal walkway leads all the way from the foreshore reserve at the river’s mouth along the coastline to Tacking Point Lighthouse, the third oldest in Australia. There is much to discover, from wandering through colonial buildings to fishing and boating on the Hastings River and surfing or swimming the many unique beaches.
